'Blood of My Blood' Connects to 'Outlander' in a Beautiful Way
The original Outlander series will come to an end soon. Season 8 will wrap up the story, which is based on Diana Gabaldon's ninth novel, Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone, and will also incorporate parts of the unfinished and unreleased 10th and final Outlander book, A Blessing for a Warrior Going Out, sometime in early 2026. The final season of Outlander is expected to explore the events surrounding the American Revolution and how they affect Jamie (Sam Heughan) and Claire (Caitríona Balfe). It's exciting, for sure, but the best part about Outlander was always the mesmerizing Scottish landscape. Luckily, Outlander: Blood of My Blood, a Starz production released weekly from August 8 onwards, is the perfect prequel, as it dives right back into what made the original series so special and captivating in the first place.
