'Jaws' Is Streaming on Netflix, but Are Any of the Sequels Worth Watching?
Just when you thought it was safe to get back in the water, the Jaws franchise kept churning out movies that tried to convince you that it was not. Over the course of 12 years, four movies about the Brody family were made, chronicling their fight against the great white shark. If you’re a devoted fan of this underwater thriller franchise, you already know that they tried something different in each sequel to reel an audience in. Whether it was the teen beach party vibe that was harpooned straight into Jaws 2, the SeaWorld collaboration that took a bite out of Jaws 3, or the mythical shark motif that dropped people’s jaws in The Revenge, all of these (mis)adventures are now available to stream on Netflix. That said, these mindless shark attack movies can’t be all bad, right?
