Supergirl Had a Purpose in 'Superman' & It Was Not To Set Up 2026 Movie
Superman is still flying high in cinemas, and, as expected, making short work of new arrivals such as The Smurfs and I Know What You Did Last Summer. And by now, everyone knows that there are a couple of late in the movie cameo appearances by some other DC characters, one of whom is Milly Alcock as Supergirl. While it seems like Superman’s cousin appearing in the film is a way of leading into her own movie next summer, Gunn has revealed that there is actually another reason why it was important to include her in the final moments of the film – and it is all about that “pain in the ass” dog.
