‘Clair Obscur: Expedition 33’ live soundtrack performance goes viral

‘Alicia’ from the Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 soundtrack was performed at the Gamescom 2025’s Opening Night Live showcase and the footage has gone viral.

Taking to the stage in Cologne, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 composer Lorien Testard and vocalist Alice Duport-Percier performed the gorgeous ‘Alicia’ from the game’s soundtrack. 

The beautiful rendition saw Duport-Percier nail the vocals while Tesard accompanied her on acoustic guitar. It was the first time anything from the Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 soundtrack has been given a live airing. 

The performance was shared on social media shortly afterwards and people can’t get enough. “Her voice gives me chills. What an all-timer when it comes to original soundtracks,” wrote one X user. “This game captured my heart for so many hours, and this performance had me tearing up. What an art piece all around,” added another. “I REALLY gotta play Expedition 33 sometime… That song was absolutely ethereal. Felt that touch my soul, damn. I can only imagine the rest of the soundtrack,” said a third.

The clip has been viewed more than 900,000 times on X and now fans are demanding a full tour. “Manifesting a Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 live tour. Please, I need to hear those masterpieces live at least once,” wrote one fan. “It was fantastic seeing live. Hopefully we can get a full orchestral concert someday because the music absolutely deserves it,” added another.

Earlier this year, the Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 soundtrack topped the Billboard Classic Album Chart. While no plans for an orchestral tour have been shared, the soundtrack has been given a vinyl release.

The game remains one of the highest rated of 2025 and has even been praised by the French President Emmanuel Macron who called it “a shining example of French audacity and creativity.” It’s also been reported that a film adaptation is in the works.
