Greenpeace is one of Glastonbury’s longstanding official charity partners, along with WaterAid and Oxfam.

This year, Greenpeace will be reminding festivalgoers to “stand up for our democratic rights and to join the growing global demand for fossil fuel companies to FINALLY ‘Stop drilling & Start paying'”, organisers said.

“The science is clear: fossil fuel companies like Shell cannot drill for new fossil fuels any more if we are to have a liveable planet. Greenpeace are asking that they stop business as usual and compensate for the environmental damage they have caused already.”

Elsewhere, the area will host “some truly inspiring artist campaign collaborations” with social media personality, political commentator and “comedian wannabee” Danny Fucking Price, as well as internationally renowned artist Oliver Jeffers, acclaimed London-based Nigerian artist Slawn, Irish storytelling collective Seanchoíche and more.

Greenpeace is set to showcase ‘Nature Sounds’ for the first time too. According to organisers, this is “a never-seen-before 360 surround soundsystem that will make you hear a pin or beat drop wherever you are stood”.

‘BEAM’ – the walk-through sculptural installation and standing dead wood habitat that was created in 2019 – has been reimagined as ‘The Apocalypse Museum + Hell Bus (Or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying And Start Disobeying)’.

Attendees can also enjoy the Greenpeace field’s Apocalypse Museum, skate ramp, plant-based kitchen, drop slide, climbing wall and showers.

You can find more information about the Greenpeace area on Glastonbury’s official website.

Further announcements are expected in the coming days and weeks. Check back here for the latest Glastonbury 2025 line-up news as we get it.

Organisers recently shared a new and updated map of the entire Glastonbury site for this year, showing various changes.

In other news, the full programme for Glasto ’25’s Pilton Palais cinema tent was revealed last week. The venue will host in-person appearances from Tilda Swinton, Paul Mescal, Edgar Wright, Taron Egerton, Margot Robbie and more.

Meanwhile, Westside Cowboy – the winners of Glastonbury’s Emerging Talent Competition 2025 – have spoken to NME about how it feels to have secured a slot at Worthy Farm next month.

“It feels amazing but it’s really hard to process,” vocalist Aoife Anson O’Connell told NME. “We’re so lucky, we’ve had the most insane luck for a year and it’s just happened again. We’re the most jammy people in the world, maybe I should start gambling!”
