James Gunn Confirms New 'Superman' Video Games in Development, Set in the DC Universe
It's safe to say that Superman was a major success for the rebooted DC Universe. It might not have reached the financial highs of Zack Snyder's Man of Steel, but it obliterated it on Rotten Tomatoes and laid a solid foundation for the future of the DC Universe. While the franchise is set to move on to other characters, like Peacemaker, Supergirl, and the Green Lantern Corps, James Gunn is still caught in the world of Clark Kent. The writer/director has already revealed that a Superman sequel is in the works (to the surprise of absolutely no one), but David Corenswet's DCU future as Superman just received another, far more surprising update from Gunn.
