The New Batman Anime With a 71% Rotten Tomatoes Score is a Streaming Hit on HBO Max
Over his 80+ year cinematic history, Batmanhasn't been afraid to get a bit weird. Adam West's iteration of the character was campy, colorful, and a far cry from the brooding character fans know and love today. Even Michael Keaton and Val Kilmer's versions of Bruce Wayne had some quirky moments, although George Clooney still stands as the kookiest live-action Dark Knight. But when Batman goes animated, things get really weird. The Lego Batman Movie put a comedic spin on The Dark Knight's adventures in Gotham, while the various DC Animated Universe movies have adapted some of the strangest comic book arcs. But, the most recent Batman animated movie is by far the strangest one yet, and it's currently dominating on streaming, so why not check it out?
