If you've stayed off the internet for the past 12 months, you might not have noticed the great divide between Zack Snyder fans and fans of the new DC Universe, led by James Gunn's Superman. Following Henry Cavill's recasting as the Man of Steel, with David Corenswet playing the iconic character in Gunn's new film, die-hard Snyder fans were up in arms about the decision. Petitions have been created, boycotts have been planned, and social media (as it always has been) is a cesspit of hateful comments. Despite the discourse, Zack Snyder and James Gunn are publicly very supportive of each other. But, they both recently revealed their true feelings about the other's directorial styles... in the latest episode of Rick & Morty of all things.
