'Peacemaker's John Cena Says James Gunn Broke Rules to Resurrect Him
Grab yourself a cup because John Cena has shared some piping-hot tea ahead of PeacemakerSeason 2. The beloved actor, who debuted as Christopher Smith aka Peacemaker in the 2021 DC Extended Universe (DCEU) film The Suicide Squad, has admitted that James Gunn broke a "cardinal rule" by giving the DC anti-hero his own spin-off series on HBO Max. The smash-hit superhero series is about to debut its second season, but it may never have been if it wasn't for the DC Studios co-head tearing up the rule book.
