Pixar Doesn't Think 'Up' Would Ever Work as a Live-Action Remake
While some older Disney fans may find the live-action Lilo and Stitch to be a disgrace to the original animated film, the film's box office success is a major green light for the studio's live-action remakes. The remake ended up being a completely different version of the 2002 animated film, but still proved to be a hit with audiences today. With Lilo & Stich 2 already in production, it's clear that Disney is not slowing down on the trend anytime soon. However, there is one animated film in Disney's catalog that Pixar CCO Pete Docter believes would not work as a live-action film.
