‘Suicide Squad’ Star Jai Courtney Says Captain Boomerang Could Return in the DCU
One thing that has become clear several times in comic book movies, is that just because a character has died in a previous film, it doesn't mean they are gone for good. Although James Gunn's new DCU is a fresh start for the DC franchise, there are some characters and actors that are set to crossover from the old DCEU into the new universe that will kick off its live-action story in this summer's Superman. Someone hoping to join that select group is Suicide Squad star Jai Courtney, who played Captain Boomerang in both David Ayer's movie about the anti-hero group and Gunn's own The Suicide Squad.
