The Split Fiction video game had been released to gamers for just over a week before it was announced that a movie adaptation was in the works. Like players blowing through the levels of the hit couch co-op game by Hazelight Studios, things quickly moved forward with the movie, as Sydney Sweeney was the first name attached to the project, followed by director Jon M. Chu. Now, the project has advanced to the next level, as the film has officially been picked up by a studio and will move forward into active development.
