The best science fiction movie of the century is currently streaming for free on Pluto TV, and users of the free platform are (rightly) obsessed with the film. The titles of the best sci-fi film ever made, and the best sci-fi film of the 21st Century, are somewhat subjective. But major outlets often put together definitive lists to attempt to rank these kinds of categories. Earlier this year, the NY Times released its list of the 100 best movies of the 21st Century. The film in question didn't quite reach the top spot (an honor that was held by Bong Joon-ho's Parasite), although it was the highest-ranked sci-fi film on the list by far. The fan-favorite sci-fi film by an Oscar-winning director is available to stream on many platforms. But Pluto TV users can stream it for free.
