The DCU Needs To Adapt 'Mystik U' if It Ever Wants To Beat Marvel
Superman is set to hit theaters soon, marking the start of a new DC Universe, titled the DCU. A shared universe spanning film and television, there are many DCU titles currently in development, including Supergirl, Clayface, Lanterns, and Teen Titans, among others. James Gunn is pulling from many different DC Comics for inspiration for his DC Universe, including All-Star Superman, Grant Morrison's Batman run, Tom King's Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow and Mister Miracle, and Alan Moore's Swamp Thing, to name a few. There is, however, one recent DC Comics series that James Gunn should consider adapting as part of his new shared universe: Mystik U.
