Tom Cruise is bringing his final Mission: Impossible action adventure to cinemas this week, but there are still plenty of people who have questioned whether it will be his final outing as Ethan Hunt. Despite the franchise being set to end with a double-header under the “Dead Reckoning” subtitle, that changed following the release of the seventh movie in the franchise, which, despite incredible reviews, failed to live up to the box office result it hoped for.
