Why David Corenswet Is the Perfect Superman BTS Video
When taking a look at the trailers and marketing, it seems that James Gunn's Superman is returning to the cinematic roots of the character. Specifically, Richard Donner's 1978 Superman movie, the first live-action feature film for the character, appears to serve as a basis for this new iteration in Gunn and Peter Safran's new DC Universe (DCU). Elements like the use of a new rendition of John Williams' theme from the original movie only serve to reinforce the similarities, as the new film will depart from the darker and more intense version featured in Henry Cavill's Man of Steel.
