Long Story Short is the new show from BoJack Horseman creator Raphael Bob-Waksberg – but what songs are used in the show? Find out below.
The adult animated comedy debuted on Netflix on August 22, with all 10 episodes of season one available to stream now.
It tells the story of a middle-class Jewish family, led by the three siblings Avi (Ben Feldman), Shira (Abbi Jacobson) and Yoshi (Max Greenfield). Over the course of the episodes, they each reflect on their highly religious upbringing while trying to navigate their everyday lives.
Lisa Edelstein (House) plays the obnoxious family matriarch Naomi, while Paul Reiser (Beverly Hills Cop, Stranger Things) voices the role of Elliot, the bumbling patriarch.

The show has only just debuted on Netflix, but the streamer has shown confidence in its performance by commissioning a second season already.
In a three-star review of the show, NME wrote: “Netflix has already green-lit a second series; there’s plenty of potential here, but the time-hopping concept is going to need to be better utilised to make further divulging of this long story worthwhile.”
Bob-Waksberg’s previous work on BoJack Horseman has earned him a lot of fans, including Billie Eilish, who described it as “the greatest show of all time” last year. It ran on Netflix for six seasons from 2014 to 2020.
“The writing is so smart and fucking dark and deep,” Eilish said. “I’ve seen it a few times in total and every time I finish it, I’m like, ‘OK, let’s count down until I’m allowed to rewatch it again’.”

The original score for the show is composed by Jesse Novak, who also worked on BoJack Horseman, as well as The Mindy Project, Tuca & Bertie and Superstore.
