'Final Destination 5' Is the Most Underrated in the Franchise

In the 25 years since the first film was released, the Final Destinationfranchise has thrilled horror movie fans due to its ingenious premise and, most importantly, the creative and often hilarious ways it dispatches its victims through death's design. By the time Final Destination 5 was released in 2011, the franchise was coming off an installment that some fans thought was lackluster (The Final Destination). However, the use of the 3D hook made it financially successful. It would've been easy for the fifth film to be more of the same, and in many ways it was, but thanks to an ending that genuinely surprised audiences, Final Destination 5 has continued to stand out as one of the better entries in the franchise.
