'Gatto:' Pixar Announces New Animated Film From 'Luca' Director
Pixar has announced an original animated feature film from Lucadirector Enrico Casarosa, which will see the Oscar-nominated filmmaker return to Italy for an all-new adventure. His latest undertaking, titled Gatto (the Italian word for cat), will center on a furry feline called Nero, but instead of exploring the sun-drenched streets in highly stylized CGI, the purring protagonist will have a much more painterly design, just like its surroundings, as the studio is opting to embrace a more illustrative, artsy look than some of its previous offerings.
