'iHostage' is Topping the Netflix Chart But Everyone Hates It
Anxiety, iPhones, and a gunman in downtown Amsterdam sounds like the kind of plot that will deliver plenty of thrills, and that is what many Netflix viewers have expected when clicking on iHostage, the Apple‑Store siege thriller that just rocketed to the top of Netflix’s global movie chart. The Dutch-made “thriller” was added to Netflix’s library on April 17, and very quickly found itself doubling the viewership of its nearest competition to take the number 1 position. However, the twist in the story is that everyone who has reviewed the movie seems to hate it.
