James Gunn Reveals Why He Cut the 'Legacy' From 'Superman's Title
In the early days of James Gunn's new DCU, Superman had the word Legacy attached to the title when it was announced in 2023. As things progressed, that was slowly phased out, and we now know that the movie is simply titled Superman – the way it should have been right from the start. Ahead of the film's premiere on July 11, Gunn recently revealed why he decided to drop Legacy from the marquee, and his reasons make a lot of sense.
