What follows the intriguing setup at the beginning of the trailer are all the big, crowd-pleasing moments expected from our first full-length look at the film. However, an interesting narrative throughline explores Superman's old-fashioned mindset clashing with a nihilistic modern-day world. In a way, this more optimistic rendition of the character is reminiscent of Zack Snyder's vision.
