Jesse Eisenberg plots a diamond heist in the trailer for ‘Now You See Me, Now You Don’t’

The trailer for the third Now You See Me film brings back an all-star cast led by Jesse Eisenberg, which sees the rogue magician plot a diamond heist.
2013’s Now You See Me, about a team of illusionists named The Four Horsemen who use their stage productions to pull off robberies, starred Eisenberg alongside Morgan Freeman, Woody Harrelson, Isla Fisher and Mark Ruffalo. The 2016 sequel, Now You See Me 2, saw Daniel Radcliffe play the crew’s nemesis. The films have been box office hits, earning over $700million (£523million) worldwide.
The new film, titled Now You See Me: Now You Don’t, finds Eisenberg’s character Danny estranged from his fellow Horsemen and approaching a group of young magicians who replicate their success. The new crew is made up of The Holdovers star Dominic Sessa, Justice Smith (Jurassic Park: Fallen Kingdom), and Ariana Greenblatt (Barbie).
His plan is to steal a priceless diamond from Veronika Vanderberg (Rosamund Pike), the leader of a consortium that helps arms dealers and criminals launder their money. However, as the plan begins to put a target on their backs, Danny’s former collaborators reappear to help him out.
As you would expect, the clip is filled with spectacular illusions, as well as witty banter between the stars. Freeman returns to advise the expanded team, telling them they were brought together to “bring down two generations of criminals with a single sleight of hand”.
Now You See Me: Now You Don’t is released in UK cinemas on November 14. Although the film in months away from release, it was announced during April’s CinemaCon that a fourth film is also in development.
Jesse Eisenberg has just finished a successful awards campaign for A Real Pain, his directorial effort that earned him a BAFTA Award and an Oscar nomination, with co-star Kieran Culkin winning an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor.
Recently, Eisenberg’s next project as director was announced as being an untitled musical comedy, in which he also stars alongside Julianne Moore and Paul Giamatti.
