'John Rambo' Origin Film in Development From 'Sisu' Director & 'Black Adam' Writers
After the origins of Batman, James Bond, and Han Solo were shown on the big screen, it looks like Rambo is next. Alongside Rocky Balboa, John Rambo is one of the defining roles of Sylvester Stallone's career and helped cement him as a cinematic icon. Stallone has since split from the Rocky franchise due to a falling out with producer Irwin Winkler, who owns the property. Now it looks like Stallone's other big title franchise is about to move on without him as a prequel to John Rambo is being developed six years after Stallone said goodbye to the character in Rambo: The Last Blood.
