Joy Behar’s Candid Confession on The View: What Happened When She Bumped Into Her Ex?

Joy Behar spilled some tea about one of her ex-husbands the other day on The View’s new show, The Weekend View.

Joy was surrounded by her co-hosts, Sara Haines, Ana Navarro, Sunny Hostin, and Alyssa Farah Griffin, when she shared a recent interaction with her ex-husband.

Whoopi Goldberg was not on hand since she doesn’t work the weekends for The View.

Joy’s play, My First Ex-Husband, is ending its run on Off-Broadway in mid-May, and she decided to reveal a tidbit about her ex-husband, Joe Behar.

During a segment on The Weekend View about the Met Gala and the stars like Miley Cyrus and Patrick Schwarzenegger successfully avoiding each other on the red carpet, Joy popped in with her story.

Joy and Joe share a daughter, Eve, and occasionally meet at events, which leads to funny stories shared on The View without the rivalry they have on other ABC shows like Good Morning America.

Joy Behar Reveals What Happened When She Saw Her Ex-Husband

During the interesting segment on The Weekend View, Sara said she could run right up to her exes as if nothing bad had happened, stating, “You run right up to them!”

Sunny uttered a shocked “What!” to the idea of casually seeing an ex and acting as if nothing happened, which would cause hard feelings before Joy shared a juicy bit from her personal life

Joy said, “I just ran into my ex-husband. My daughter’s starting a ceramics school, and I spoke to him.”

As all the ladies started asking questions, wanting to know more, Joy began, “I have this show, My First Ex-Husband.” Joy’s Off-Broadway show, My First Ex-Husband, famously doesn’t feature her ex, but will in the future.

Joy finished her story about her ex, Joe, “So, so his people come up to him to say, ‘How come you aren’t in that show?’, and he says, ‘I’m too boring.'”

She then went on to describe her crazy wedding ceremony with him, which included an Italian Catholic church and a Jewish ceremony.

In front of the ladies on The View, she promised her husband, “I’m putting you in the show now!”
