‘Marvel Rivals’ summer swinsuit skins are coming later this year

Marvel Rivals has had a lot of exciting new skin releases, but NetEase may have just teased the most exciting yet as Marvel is teaming up with the studio for a set of new swimsuit skins launching later this year.

The swimsuit skins will also be featured in a new Swimsuit Special edition of Marvel Comics – the first in 30 years.

Marvel Rivals’ Swimsuit skins will launch in-game sometime this Summer. The Swimsuit Special comic launches on July 9, 2025, so we can expect the costumes to also launch around then, which would fit the Summer vibe and seasonal events the game is likely to have around this time.

Interestingly, there are a number of characters in this comic that aren’t in the game yet. However, the ones that are included in Marvel Rivals are Black Panther, Black Widow, and Iron Man. Other characters in the comic are Cyclops, Jean Grey, Captain Marvel, Rogue, She-Hulk, Mary Jane Watson, and Wasp.

A few of these characters have been leaked for Marvel Rivals, including Jean Grey, Cyclops, and Captain Marvel. Given that we are in the midst of an X-Men-themed season as well, we could see a lot of X-Men added to the game over the next few seasons to meet the demand for swimsuit skins come the Summer.

The game could also add skins for other characters not in the comments, especially characters like Namor, Emma Frost, Psylocke, and others.

We will keep this article up to date with the latest information and announcements on the swimsuit skins as and when they are announced. We will likely hear more this Summer ahead of Season 3’s release.
