'Murderbot's 'Sanctuary Moon' Is a Hilarious 'Star Trek' Homage
With only two episodes out so far, Apple TV+'s new sci-fi comedy Murderbotis already off to a solid start. Based on the series of novels by Martha Wells, it's earned rave reviews (currently sitting at 98% on Rotten Tomatoes) for its sharp sense of humor and Alexander Skarsgård's winning performance as a rogue security android (or SecUnit, in the show's words) protecting a scientific expedition. Since the show is so new, creators Paul and Chris Weitz have only begun to color in the edges of its futuristic world, but they've already offered some compelling tidbits.
