Netflix's 'Brick' Ending, Explained: So, What's the Deal With the Bricks?
Don't you hate it when you're trying to leave your apartment, but when you open your front door, you find your pathway blocked by a giant wall of creepy, futuristic black bricks? Ugh, me too! Brickis a 2025 locked-room mystery streaming on Netflix, directed by Phillip Koch. The German-language thriller follows a couple, Tim and Olivia (played by real-life couple Matthias Schweighöfer and Ruby O. Fee), who, amid already trying to navigate a strained relationship, find themselves unexpectedly trapped in their apartment building when a black-geometric wall suddenly surrounds the perimeter. The indestructible wall prevents them from having access to the outside world entirely, as well as water and cell service.
