'Sinners' Stole Its Wardrobe From the MCU's 'Blade'
2025 was supposed to be the year of the Black vampire hunter. Sinners has proven a hit with fans and critics. But what about the OG vampire exterminator, Blade? What little insight we have into the fate of Marvel's Blade comes not from PR people, actors, producers, or directors, but its prop department. And it's far bleaker than we initially suspected. If Blade 2.0 is truly dead, its sacrifice was not in vain. It might never hit the screen, but it has already reincarnated into another vampire action romp, with Sinners director Ryan Coogler taking advantage. A Sinners producer let slip that the extras were decked out in costumes earmarked for the Marvel movie, offering a glimpse into the production history of the rudderless superhero film.
