Following the Irish’s band’s intimate London show for their brand new EP ‘Safe’ on May, NewDad are set to embark on a full tour later this year.
Kicking off in Norway on October 2, the band will travel through Germany, Italy, France and other European countries. They’ll then land in the UK on October 18 at Manchester’s Academy 2, where they’ll also play cities such as Glasgow, Sheffield and Brighton.
After a huge stop at London’s O2 Kentish Forum, NewDad will play a series of homecoming shows in Ireland. Stopping by Dublin’s 3Olympia on October 31, they’ll then play Cork’s Cyprus Avenue on November 1 along with a hometown show at Galway’s Leisureland, before rounding off with a final show at Belfast’s Mandela Hall.
The band have said they “cannot wait to get back on tour” on social media, adding: “We’re getting to play a bunch of new cities we’ve never been to before, which is so exciting!!”
Tickets will go on sale at 10am this Thursday (June 19) – get your tickets for UK shows here, international shows here, and see full dates below.

NME gave the record four stars, writing: “‘Madra’ is the sound of a band who have reckoned with where they come from and used it to map out where they’re going. They’ll likely see you at the top.”
Lead singer Julie Dawson also released her own solo record, telling NME her own music was “definitely more pop-leaning, but still with all those heavy guitar and bass sounds. There’s a lot more synth sounds going on too. There’s a lot more going on, but still with that classic NewDad sound.”
