Prime Video's 'The Runarounds' Is Almost an 'Outer Banks' Spinoff
Don't worry, summer isn't over yet. In fact, it feels like it's just beginning, with Prime Video set to release a new teen drama series on September 1. The creator of Outer Banks, Jonas Pate, is back with a new project, The Runarounds. While the title doesn't give much away at first, the show certainly has a lot to offer. Most of all, it channels all the Outer Banks vibes and follows a group of friends with a big dream. There's a major twist: the main characters, William, Axel, Jeremy, Zendé, and Jesse, aren't just fictional. Their goal of becoming a successful band mirrors their real lives. The five members are real musicians turned actors, making the story in The Runarounds even more exciting.
