PS Plus October 2025 games, what to expect on PS5 and PS4

PS Plus is looking to have a strong end of the year with some big titles on the service after what has been a mixed year. Some months have been fantastic, but there have also been some real duds.

Here is a breakdown of what you can expect from October 2025 on PS Plus.

PS Plus October 2025 games

The PS Plus October 2025 games will be announced on October 1, 2025, for the Essential tier and on October 8, 2025, for the Extra and Premium tiers. The Essential games will be available from October 7, 2025, and the Extra and Premium games will be available from October 14, 2025.

While we don’t know the games yet, we can make some predictions:

‘King of Meat’ – PS5

In King of Meat, Contenders and Dungeon Creators alike are the superstars at the centre of the biggest entertainment (and only) TV Show in Loregok! With easy to pick up and hard to master combat, everyone can join the fun. Hone your battle style alongside a team of fellow Contenders, picking from a variety of weapons, combos, and powerful Glory Moves. Make a name for yourself by customizing everything from your moves, your dazzling appearance, to creating the dungeons themselves. King of Meat gives everyone the opportunity to show the world their true self.

‘Unknown 9: Awakening’ – PS5, PS4

You are Haroona, a Quaestor born with the ability to venture into a mysterious dimension that overlaps our own, known only as the Fold. On her quest for powerful hidden knowledge, Haroona will learn to master her unique connection to the Fold, which allows her to channel its powers into our world… But such power does not go unnoticed and Haroona quickly becomes the target of a splinter faction calling themselves the Ascendants, who want to use the Fold to alter the course of human history.

Slitterhead – PS5, PS4

Set in the densely cluttered streets of “Kowlong,” filled with obscurity and chaos, this battle action-adventure game casts players as the “Hyoki,” an entity devoid of memory and physical form. His only motive is to eradicate the monstrous beings known as “Slitterheads” crawling around the city, disguising themselves as humans.
Roaming the vibrant neon-lit cityscape, players must seek out allies among humans known as “Rarities,” infiltrate and track dangerous organisations, and engage in battles harnessing the power of blood. As the suspenseful drama unfolds, delve into the mystery behind Hyoki’s existence and the appearance of the Slitterheads.
The games leaving the service in October 2025 are:

• Stardew Valley – PS4 (Essential – Available until October 7, 2025)
• Viewfinder – PS5, PS4 (Essential – Available until October 7, 2025)
