Ryan Coogler Offers Disappointing Update on Possible 'Sinners' Sequel
If you found yourself compelled by the journey of the Moore twins in Ryan Coogler's astounding 2025 horror film, then you might want to sit down for this. Despite it's monumental success, Sinners, as stated by Coogler, won't be getting a sequel anytime soon. The Warner Bros. horror behemoth has grossed more than $350 million at the box office, and the studio will no doubt be hoping to capitalize on this success. Nevertheless, the writer/director did not think of it as an opportunity to start a franchise. In fact, he made it because he wanted to stay away from franchise filmmaking. Despite several sequel rumors, it appears that Coogler is not planning to make Sinners 2.
