Should the 'Thunderbolts*' Director Jake Schreier Helm the MCU X-Men Movie?
Following the release of Thunderbolts*, which garnered some of the best reviews the MCU has generated in some time while also doing decent numbers at the box office, it was reported that the film's director, Jake Schreier, had emerged as the top choice to helm the MCU's reboot of X-Men. This news has certainly been met with a largely positive reaction, and it should be. Despite some fans dismissing Schreier early on due to his work on Paper Towns and action fans/superhero movie fans being put off by YA adaptations for some reason, his previous work on Robot & Frank made him a unique pick for Thunderbolts* and one that paid off.
