'Superman' Director James Gunn Reveals Krypto Helped Him "Crack" DCU Film
James Gunn's new take on the last son of Krypton will be headed to theaters soon — Superman is less than a month away. The first feature film for the newly branded DC Studios is set to pave the way for a second shot at the interconnected cinematic universe for Warner Bros. and DC. With co-chairmen Gunn and Peter Safran at the helm, there's a new level of confidence and certainty that this new creative endeavor could be a bit more organized and coherent than the DCEU before it. However, Gunn didn't always want to write and direct Superman. Thankfully, one DC character helped him to crack the code.
