'The Sopranos' Fan Theory Makes Adriana's Death More Upsetting
The Sopranossaw many a character get whacked across its six-season run, but few deaths were more devastating than that of Adriana La Cerva. Played by the great Drea de Mateo, the loyal fiancée of Christopher (Michael Imperioli) met her end in the season five episode "Long Term Parking," after revealing to Christopher that she'd been cooperating with the FBI. While fans likely saw her death coming, there was still a glimmer of hope she might be able to escape with her life, making her inability to get away that much more heartbreaking.
