Tom Cruises 'Top Gun: Maverick' Has Now Dominated Streaming for Years
No one can argue with Tom Cruise's star power, especially as his highest-grossing movie continues a completely dominating run on streaming. The acting legend has appeared in countless action movies and franchises, like the recently concluded Mission: Impossible series, Jack Reacher, Oblivion, Minority Report, Edge of Tomorrow, and The Mummy, (although the latter is better left forgotten). Cruise can sell a movie on his name alone. But when that film also features a star-studded cast, Oscar-nominated visual effects and editing, and continues the legacy of an '80s classic, you get what is arguably Cruise's most successful movie of all time. It speaks volumes, then, that the film shows no sign of slowing down on streaming. After all, why would it, as it has the need for speed?
