Watch Ed Sheeran torment stalker Rupert Grint in “fun, bonkers” ‘A Little More’ video

Ed Sheeran and Rupert Grint have reunited in the “bonkers” new music video for ‘A Little More’.
Back in 2011, Sheeran enlisted Grint for the ‘Lego House’ music video – which became one of the singer’s most iconic visuals. The Harry Potter star played Sheeran’s doppelgänger and stalker, who is taken into custody after breaking into a tour bus and attempting to impersonate him on stage.
The new video picks up where they left off 14 years ago, and follows Grint’s character after his release from prison as he’s plagued by visions of the pop star everywhere he goes.
Things briefly improve when he finds love – Game of Thrones actor Nathalie Emmanuel plays his girlfriend – but his hallucinations escalate to the point that Sheeran pops up at his wedding.
Taking to Instagram after sharing the video, Sheeran shared apprehensions about asking Grint to star, because he didn’t know if he’d be on board.
“I’m so glad he did. It’s such a fun, bonkers video,” he wrote. “Longest video shoot I had ever done at that time, and deffo the most costume changes. Shout out to @emilnava for always bringing my mad ideas to life. And @nathalieemmanuel too for being amazing.
“Rupert, my brother from another mother, thank you for throwing yourself into this, it wouldn’t exist had you said no.”
The new single will feature on his upcoming album, ‘Play’, which is due out this September. The record has been previewed by three songs so far: ‘Azizam’, ‘Old Phone’. and ‘Sapphire’. Sheeran has also shared that he plans to share new music every two or three weeks.
He recently revealed that ‘Play’ “was made as a direct response to the darkest period of my life”, before unveiling a guitar-heavy collaboration with John Mayer and Dave Grohl called ‘Drive’ for the F1 film.
Since then, Sheeran has announced three huge homecoming shows in Ipswich for this summer. Find any remaining tickets here.
In other news, back in July, Sheeran launched a new series of original works titled ‘Cosmic Carpark Paintings’, raising funds for his Ed Sheeran Foundation. The charity is a UK-wide initiative aimed at providing inclusive, high-quality music education for every child.
