Wes Anderson has shared details on the conflicts that he encounted while working with the late great Gene Hackmanon the set of The Royal Tenenbaums. Released in 2001, The Royal Tenenbaums was director Wes Anderson's third feature film and featured an all-star cast that included Ben Stiller, Luke Wilson, Gwyneth Paltrow, Angela Huston, Bill Murarry, Danny Glover, and Owen Wilson and a dysfunctional family centered on the patriarch of the group, Royal Tenenbaum played by Gene Hackman. Since the film's release, it has been widely reported how much Anderson and Hackman clashed on the set of the film.
