During the Xbox Game Showcase over the weekend, boss Phil Spencer also teased new Fable reboot, the next Forza game and Gears Of War prequel E-Day which was announced last year will all be heading to Game Pass. He went on to say Xbox owners could expect “the return of a classic that’s been with us since the beginning”, with many fans assuming he was hinting at a new Halo game.
Last year, Microsoft confirmed “multiple” Halo titles were in the works, with the company looking to launch a “new dawn” for the franchise following the release of 2021’s Halo Infinite.
In other news, Activision Blizzard has given fans their first look at Call Of Duty: Black Ops 7 and said the sequel will be the “most mind-bending” entry in the franchise so far. Black Ops 7 “delivers the full Call Of Duty package for our players, and we can’t wait to show the community more,” said Call Of Duty director Matt Cox.
