AMC's 'Immortal Universe' Franchise Set to Expand Into "Four or Five" Shows
When Interview with the Vampire debuted on AMC back in 2022, no one expected it to become the hit it did. Least of all was producer Mark Johnson, who thought that the series would do well enough to warrant a second season, but an entire Anne Rice universe? That wasn't even on his radar. Once it became a success, Mayfair Witches came the following year, and a third series, The Talamasca, is set to premiere this fall. However, that's not the end of things, as Johnson recently revealed that the Immortal Universe could stretch to four or five shows.
