Big Brother Spoilers: Veto Meeting Forces Vince to Decide Whether to Backdoor Rachel or Katherine

Big Brother Season 27 finally decided to stop sleepwalking last week, and we’ve got Rachel to thank for it.

Her reign as HOH wasn’t just spicy — it was savage, ending with Rylie’s eviction in a nail-biter 5-4 vote.

Throwing him up after Lauren used the Veto was easily her best move yet, but once the crown slipped off her head, the big question turned into: Is Rachel now enemy number one?

Enter Vince, fresh off a Wall comp win and immediately spiraling about who to target. This is Vince’s second HOH of Big Brother Season 27, and instead of flexing confidence, he’s waffling like it’s a breakfast buffet.

At first, he dangled deals left and right, but when Katherine shut him down, he panicked and clung to whatever scraps of power he had left. His solution? Toss up Ava, Kelley, and Mickey, while keeping one eye on Rachel like she’s the final boss in a video game.

Then came Keanu, our resident Faysal wannabe, who decided it was suddenly time to backstab Rachel.

This man has been floating through the game like a human pool noodle, but now he’s campaigning like he cracked the Da Vinci Code. His big epiphany? Rachel’s too good, too persuasive, and too much of a jury threat. (Welcome to the game, Keanu. Took you long enough.)

Who is Vince Really Playing on Big Brother?

Naturally, Vince humored him. Why not? Mickey snagged the Veto, and suddenly the “what if we just backdoor Rachel?” fantasy started looking way too real. The logic was shaky at best — Rachel may be a threat, but taking her out now could shatter Vince’s already fragile relationships in the house.

The only problem: Rachel’s actual allies — Morgan, Ashley, and Will — are practically throwing themselves in front of the train to stop him. They’d rather see Katherine hit the block, but Vince has tunnel vision.

He thinks Katherine’s salvageable, while Rachel’s sharpening her knives for him. That fear has consumed his game this week, making him look more paranoid than strategic.

And then the chaos dialed up. Rachel found out Keanu was gunning for her and dragged him.

Confrontation in the open. Lines drawn. And Vince? He ate it up like free pizza. Every second of drama only convinced him that Rachel was not to be trusted, which was exactly Keanu’s plan, even if Keanu didn’t realize he was handing Rachel a bigger platform to argue why he was the one who couldn’t be trusted.

By late Sunday, Vince was teetering. By Monday morning, he was spiraling again, pacing the HOH room and mumbling about backdooring Rachel like it’s the only thing keeping him alive.

Will tried to talk him off the ledge, but Vince is clearly torn between what’s good for the alliance and what’s good for Vince’s ego. Spoiler: those two things are not the same.

Finally, the feeds came back after the Veto meeting: Mickey saved herself, and Vince named Katherine as the replacement. Which means the final noms are Ava, Kelley, and Katherine, but let’s be real, the real story this week isn’t the noms, it’s whether Rachel survives the storm or if Keanu just fumbled his way into becoming relevant.

Why is Keanu Targeting Rachel?

What makes this week so delicious is that no one seems to trust anyone. Vince is second-guessing his allies. Rachel’s sharpening her claws. Keanu’s flailing for credibility. And the rest of the house is just trying to figure out which sinking ship to jump on. That’s the kind of messy, unpredictable gameplay Big Brother fans live for.

Vince might think he’s playing chess, but from the outside, it looks a whole lot like Connect Four, and Rachel’s the one who still has the better strategy.
