‘Call Of Duty: Black Ops 7’ release date and early access weekend confirmed

The release date for Call Of Duty: Black Ops 7 has been officially announced as part of a bumper reveal trailer.

After reports that Call Of Duty: Black Ops 7 would launch this November, Activision officially confirmed the release date last night during a special presentation at Gamescom.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 will launch November 14, 2025 for Xbox and PlayStation consoles, as well as PC. It will also be a Day One release for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers.

It’s also been confirmed that the latest Call Of Duty will feature a campaign mode that can be played by up to four people at the same time while developers have teased a “massive new experience” for up to 32-players called ‘The Endgame’.

“We’ve never done anything like this before. It’s built to be the perfect place to jump in with friends, continue your global progression, and truly test yourselves after everything you’ve been through,” explained Associate Creative Director Miles Leslie in a lengthy blog post.

“Zombies is back in Black Ops 7 with the biggest Round-Based Zombies map ever, the return of Survival Maps, and even Dead Ops Arcade 4, plus plenty of new twists and turns for fans to discover,” he continued. Call Of Duty: Black Ops 7’s multiplayer will also launch with two 20v20 maps and two 16v16 maps as well as new game mode ‘Skirmish’ that will allow players to fly around the map using wingsuits.

Actisivion has also shared an updated plot outline for the new Call Of Duty game. “Black Ops 7 will take place in the year 2035 (following the events of Black Ops 2 and Black Ops 6) and terrorist Raul Menedez has returned. Now it’s up to The Guild, a global tech giant, to step in and protect the world. Caught in the middle of this is David ‘Section’ Mason who leads an elite JSOC team on a covert mission to the city of Avalon in the Mediterranean. It’s here they discover a sinister plot that not only will put the world on the brink but will pull them into their own troubled past.“

As previously teased, Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6 players will be able to bring all their weapons and cosmetics to the new game. Carry-forward also applies to unspent Double XP tokens and Gobblegums from the Zombies mode,

Before Call Of Duty: Black Ops 7 launches on November 14, a number of early access beta tests will take place. Players who pre-order the game will be able to play from October 2 while an open beta will start October 5 and run until October 8. For more details, head here
