Captain America's First Movie Was Nothing Like the MCU

Let’s go back to the year 1944 for a moment. Humphrey Bogart’s Casablanca won Best Picture at the 16th Academy Awards. The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet debuts on radio stations nationwide. Most importantly, this was also the year of D-Day, when the Allies stormed the beaches of Normandy and began to turn the tide of World War II. This was a brave and valiant effort by our soldiers and should always be remembered. But like all war efforts, change starts at home.
