DCEU Movie 'Blue Beetle' Streams for Free This June
Within the proverbial family of superhero franchises, with the MCU was the well-behaved but slightly boring eldest child, and Sony's Spider-Man Villain-verse the youngest child who most people tried to avoid, the DCEU is the middle child constantly going through an identity crisis. Starting with Zack Snyder's Man of Steel in 2013, the DCEU failed to reach the heights of its biggest rival, the MCU, but was still successful enough for Warner Bros. to keep the franchise going. Then, in 2023, James Gunn and Peter Safran took over the newly founded DC Studios to reboot the franchise. But before they could, there was one movie left to be released, 2023's Blue Beetle, and it was surprisingly good.
