Jim Carrey's '90s Comic Book Movie 'The Mask' Becomes an Unexpected Hit on Prime Video
Jim Carrey in the 1990s was a force to be reckoned with. The decade gave fans some of Carrey's best comedic works, including Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, Dumb and Dumber, The Cable Guy (which is kind of a comedy), and Liar Liar, along with more dramatic roles like The Truman Show and Man on the Moon. Amid all of those movies, Carrey also starred in two comic book adaptations. His most popular was Joel Schumacher's Batman Forever, in which he played The Riddler. But, Carrey also starred in an adaptation of a far lesser-known comic book, The Mask, and it's recently gained a second life on streaming.
