Dev Patel To Follow Up 'Monkey Man' With Period Action Thriller 'The Peasant'
After making his feature directorial debut with the action thriller Monkey Man in 2024, Dev Patel has set his sights on his next project, in which he will star, produce, and direct. According to a new exclusive from The Hollywood Reporter, Patel is set to work on The Peasant, described as a period piece and action thriller. Thunder Road, the production company behind the John Wick films, as well as Patel's first film, will return to produce the movie. However, there are no reports of other production companies being involved in his first work returning, such as Jordan Peele's MonkeyPaw Productions.
