'Doctor Who' Reportedly Not Being Canceled Despite Disney Deal Ending
Following its unexpected Season 2 conclusion, the future of Doctor Who is once again in as much peril as The Doctor finds himself in across a regular season of the sci-fi show. After the show was “saved” by Disney, who delivered a hefty cash injection that seemed to be spent on mostly unnecessary CGI graphics, the deal with the Mouse House is now done, and it doesn’t look like they intend to regenerate their investment after the series failed to gain the kind of success they were expecting.
