Trainwreck: The Astroworld Tragedy explores the tragic events of the 2021 music festival, but what songs are included on the soundtrack? Find them all below.

The new feature-length Netflix documentary speaks to witnesses and emergency responders who were at NRG Park in Houston, Texas on November 5, 2021 for the annual Astroworld Festival, hosted by Travis Scott.

Scheduled to take place over two days, the third Astroworld Festival bill included the likes of Tame Impala, SZA, Young Thug, Bad Bunny, 21 Savage and Lil Baby.

However, disaster struck when eight people died during Scott’s set at the event due to a fatal crowd crush, while two others passed away in hospital in the following days and hundreds of others sustained injuries.

Following the incident, Scott shared that he was “devastated” by the news. “I’m absolutely devastated by what took place last night,” Scott wrote on his social media accounts at the time. “My prayers go out to the families and all those impacted by what happened at Astroworld Festival.”

In June 2023, a Texas grand jury declined to indict Scott or anyone associated with the Astroworld event, and in May the following year, Scott and Live Nation settled all wrongful death lawsuits against them.

Trainwreck: The Astroworld Tragedy follows on from Netflix’s previous Trainwreck documentary in 2022 that explored the troubled Woodstock ‘99 festival. It is directed by Yemi Bamiro (Fight The Power: How Hip Hop Changed The World) and Hannah Poulter, who also produces with Hamish Fergusson, Kari Lia and Layla Snell.
