It often feels like Vin Diesel has starred in nothing but Fast & Furious movies, but that is far from correct. The actor has had many other decent roles, some of them Oscar-worthy. For example, his first-ever film, Strays — written and directed by him — presented a powerful story about a drug dealer trying to find meaning in life. Few also remember Diesel as a Navy SEAL lieutenant turned babysitter in the comedy, The Pacifier.
